During all 3 Seasons of Leah Remini’s Scientology and the Aftermath, Leah and Mike have sought to make anyone who criticizes their show out to be a Scientologist. Because who could possibly criticize the holy work that they are doing but a Scientologist?

Mike Rinder is sometimes described as a “former Church spokesman” by journalists who don’t want to discredit him as one of their sources. But the truth is that Mike Rinder was the Commanding Officer of the Office of Special Affairs under David Miscavige for 22 years.
He ran ALL of the fair game activities for Scientology, suppressed all the pedophile and sexual “flaps”, ran all the attorneys who drew up all the draconian contracts that are used to abuse Scientologists legally, and has never revealed one crime committed in the entire time he has been out of Scientology – 11 years now.
This is a collection of posts which reveal some of the things that Mike Rinder did as the head of OSA, and some of the things he has still not revealed about himself and his old boss, David Miscavige.
Trying to get a sociopath like Mike Rinder to care about the violent consequences of his rhetoric is a futile exercise, as I learned, once again, the hard way.
If Leah Remini and Mike Rinder can help get one criminal conviction on the Church of Scientology through their “Scientology and The Aftermath” reality series, or help one lawsuit succeed against them for real injustices, no one will be happier than I. But when I see another Ex-Scientologist flip into nightmare mode on who they […]
The anti-cult movement provides the principle ideology almost all Ex-cult members are given to adopt after they leave their minority religions. The foundation of that anti-cult ideology is the belief in “brainwashing”. But does “brainwashing” really exist? Or is it just an excuse?
There’s nothing like finally getting what you’ve wished for. The last few years have been an Anti-Scientology spooge dream: A Pulitzer Prize winning journalist writes a best-selling expose’ on Scientology, which turns into an Emmy-winning, Oscar nominated movie, followed by a Louis Theroux smarmy send-up, followed by 2 Seasons of an Emmy-winning TV reality show […]
There is a claim made by many anti-Scientologists, such as Tony Ortega, Mike Rinder, Chris Shelton and others, that the Church of Scientology paid social scientists and other academics in the field of religion to alter their research and to write articles favorable to Scientology. Since objective scientific research is important to critical thinking about […]
The Church of Scientology isn’t the only group to go after their critics: Leah Remini’s Scientology and the Aftermath goes after their critics just as dishonestly!
This affidavit, filed in the Ken Dandar case, shows the daily routine that Mike Rinder lived as the Commanding Officer of the Office of Special Affairs for 22 years under David Miscavige.
Last night’s episode of Leah Remini’s Scientology and the Aftermath was a round table discussion of former Scientologists, and independent Scientologists, exposing the upper levels of Scientology so that people can make more informed decisions about their involvement. For that reason, it was a very valuable episode. And Tony Ortega has gotten people who have […]
In 2011, Mike Rinder traveled to Trinity College in Ireland to debate why Scientology is a religion. I mean if he traveled all the way there to say this – he must have meant it – right? His co-star Leah Remini, after being a Scientologist for 34 years, now says Scientology is not a religion. […]
Yesterday, Mike Rinder wrote a post that he hoped would whip all his commenters up into a lather against Scientologists in the entertainment industry. Here are his final paragraphs of that post: “But of course they ignore the huge failures that are stinking up the lobby at CC: Jenna Elfman has not been able to […]
#AskMikeRinder launches to find out, once and for all, what criminal activity, if any, the Office of Special Affairs engaged in while Mike Rinder ran it for David Miscavige for 22 years.
Mike Rinder tried to trick Gerry Armstrong by posing as a “loyalist” to LRH who only wanted to rid the Church of David Miscavige in order to restore “true Scientology” once again.
Mike Rinder Anti-Scientology vs. Mike Rinder Scientology: a great real life example of what happens when your friends and your group are more important than the truth. If you would like to see the same kind of information control that the Church of Scientology uses to squash criticism, just go over to Mike Rinder’s Anti-Scientology […]
Leah Remini began her emotional manipulation in Season 2 of “Scientology and the Aftermath” before the first episode aired with a promotional article in the Hollywood Reporter claiming that she wanted a federal investigation of Scientology, and then falsely accusing Scientologists of believing in pedophilia. Since then, every emotionally manipulative episode has contained specious suggestions […]
If you’ll read the posts below, you’ll see that many leading Ex-Scientologists and critics of the Church of Scientology, myself included, do not approve of fair game in any form. But for Mike Rinder’s minions, who know that their leader RAN fair game for the Church of Scientology against its critics for 22 years, fair […]
Please Leah. I used to believe that you were one of the most level-headed and powerful critics of Scientology in their history. But ever since you knowingly mis-characterized a quote from Dianetics to make it seem like Scientologists believed in pedophilia, and now you have publicly blamed a mother for her own daughter’s suicide to […]
A few days ago, Mike Rinder, as is his wont, asked for comments on Scientology and the Aftermath S2E2 featuring two tragic suicides by Scientologists. So I posted my thoughts on it: “Alanzo says August 23, 2017 at 12:29 pm I personally can not believe that you and Leah have gone down the road of […]
This is Taylor Tweed’s mother and brother speaking out about how they feel about Taylor’s suicide being featured on A&E’s Scientology and the Aftermath. I think A&E should interview Cathy Tweed – and give her time on their network after what has been done to her. Cathy Tweed speaks. And she deserves to be heard. […]
As the head of the Office of Special Affairs for 20 years, Mike Rinder met with attorneys and helped to develop all the contracts and procedures which were used to suppress the 2 victims of sexual abuse, and others like them, who were profiled in Season 2 Episode 1 of Scientology and the Aftermath. Why […]
Paul Haggis rape allegations continue to play out in the courts with very little hitting the media. Page Six reported last week that “He’s trying to track down her friends and old roommates and asking them every question under the sun: whether she is financially responsible, hangs out with seedy characters, does drugs, or just […]
On Episode 2 of Scientology and the Aftermath, we are taken through the tragic story of Taylor Tweed’s suicide. We are shown the “handlings” that Taylor’s mom tried to perform to try to “get Taylor’s ethics in”, and which now can be seen to be clearly, tragically, catastrophically, the wrong thing to do for Taylor, […]
When I got out of Scientology and began exposing them on the Internet 19 years ago, it was because I had discovered how cruel that the leadership in the Church of Scientology had been to too many people. And I realized this had to be stopped. And so, along with many others, at great risk […]
Recently Mike Rinder called a poster to his blog a “dupe” and banned her for posting a link to a US Senate investigation on Backpage.com because it had information in it that exposed his fellow anti-Scientologist Tony Ortega as defending, endorsing, and condoning sex trafficking and pedophilia while he worked at the Village Voice. Both Mike […]
As everyone should know by now, the biggest Scientology Super Power is its legal firm. And in the wake of the crushing defeat of the Garcia case, one should begin to question some of the legal advice that Ex-Scientologists have been receiving which has resulted in so many losses. A documentary from 2011 sheds light […]
Mike Rinder’s blog has a post today about “2 Types of Exes” which is eerily reminiscent of “Two Types of People” by L Ron himself. Hubbard was wrong about this two poled thinking and so is Mike Rinder. Here’s why.
So far the series has stayed away from the most important Scientology stories, such as Mike Rinder’s OSA involvement in the cover-up of the Danny Masterson rape cases. So when will Scientology and the Aftermath have an episode on the Death of Kyle Brennan?
Until the background of these acts have been exposed, detailed and thoroughly condemned by Mike Rider and Marty Rathbun, and amends made to Gerry Armstrong for what they have done to him, there can be little possibility that a person who wishes to claim they are “exposing the abuses of Scientology” fails to expose the […]
Here, Marty is describing a scene that appears to be an impromptu discussion in a car between Mike Rinder and Leah Remini in the final episode of Season 1 of Scientology and the Aftermath. But Marty is claiming here that it was actually a discussion in a car between Marty and Mike, in reality, 8 […]
Mike Rinder should use Season 2 of Scientology and The Aftermath to provide a Truth and Reconciliation commission on the people he has fair-gamed as the head of OSA.
And they deserve closure. No person who is loyal and sycophantic to those who refuse to provide the information necessary to help people who have been harmed by Scientology are likely to be a credible journalistic source for those scrambling to make a buck at Scientology reporting. That’s a long sentence, but if you read […]
Sunny Pereira, like a good Tribal member, instead of struggling to tell the truth about Scientology and all of her experiences in it, she’s working hard to give her anti-scientology tribe what it wants. The problem with this is that – in the end – Sunny Pereira Scientology never tells the truth. Some anonymous person […]
Robert Vaughn Young (RVY) was Mike Rinder’s predecessor for many years. He woke up from the spell of Scientology in the 1990’s and contributed some of the best critical writing on Scientology that exists. He died of cancer in 2003.
The main thing wrong with Scientology is that you might end up disconnecting from someone in your family? After all this time, is that all we’ve got?
I tweeted this out today. For 8 yrs, @MikeRinder's operated on the #Scientology Bean Theory of Truth & Reconciliation:For every bean I spend, I get more in return. — Alanzo (@AlanzosBlog) March 29, 2017 It's time for @MikeRinder to stop spending beans, and to start spilling them. Address the Old Guard #scientology critics you have […]
There are a lot of things about Scientology scriptures and OT levels that we would not have access to today on the Internet without the help of Dennis Ehrlich.
The Great Scientology Dissipation will continue. From the Church of Scientology to Indie Scientology to Anti-Scientology to Post Ex-Scientology, the continuing diaspora will disperse and evaporate at ever-diminishing intensities. Still no criminal activity will be reported on the Church of Scientology, as has been the case for over 30 years. David Miscavige will continue to […]
Rinder & Remini’s Where’s Shelly? campaign is a hoax to get their revenge on Miscavige. They know that she isn’t missing & never was. Here’s how I know.
Everyone should know the story of Gerry Armstrong. Because if it was not for Gerry Armstrong, LRH, Marty, Mike and Dave might have gotten away with the whole thing.
1.043 million viewers tuned in to see Season 2, Episode 7 of Leah Remini’s Scientology and the Aftermath on the A&E Network at 10pm on Tuesday night, per TV BY the Numbers.
I left the Church of Scientology in 2000, and have been doing what I can to warn the public about the lies and abuse that L. Ron Hubbard and the executives of the Church of Scientology have been waging against spiritual seekers who came to Scientology and trusted it as their chosen religion. From their […]
Is Leah preparing to jump the shark? After two missed episodes in the middle of a season, leaving the A&E Network’s Tuesday night 8pm slot with re-runs 2 weeks in a row, Aftermath returns with what appears to be more acting than ever. Leah’s hamming acting here actually does a disservice to the people she […]
As you can see, viewers for the first night viewing for Season 2 Episode 8 of Leah Remini’s Scientology and the Aftermath dropped by another 70,000 for “Lifetime of Healing”. If we are to get the federal investigation that Leah said she wanted out of Season 2, we can’t just sit around with old friends […]
Without being found guilty of criminal acts in a court of law, trying to take away Scientology’s legal freedoms is simply religious persecution.
“Asked to explain these “abusive practices,” Remini takes a deep breath, then lays out some foundational principles. “Scientology policy dictates that children are grown men and women in little bodies. They believe a 7-year-old girl should not shudder at being passionately kissed. That’s in Dianetics,” she says, referencing L. Ron Hubbard’s 1950 book that establishes […]
I think it is important to document the new trend among anti-Scientologists, started by Mike Rinder of Scientology and the Aftermath, of calling all Scientologists “vermin”. After doing their best to keep Scientology from opening a new organization in Ireland, and failing miserably – but stirring up a lot of hatred for Scientology there – […]
Last night’s episode of Scientology and the Aftermath The Ranches featured two more heartbreaking case studies of Scientology abuse. But it had no information in it that law enforcement can use to bring criminal charges to David Miscavige or anyone in the Church of Scientology. It exposed important stories of abuse to a wider TV […]
Season three of my show is dedicated to the IRS and their ‘religious’ tax-exempt status. ‘Hey, call yourself a religion – I don’t give a f**k! They should NOT have tax-exempt status. They only got it because they ‘fair gamed’ the IRS – bullied them, harassed them.’ The Mafia has more integrity!’ Says Leah Remini […]
Yesterday, in the comments section of my blog, I provided the link to a post that Marty Rathbun wrote in December of 2009 about his wordpress blog account being hacked. That post was written four months after Marty and “collero’s” email exchanges. And if Marty’s wordpress.com blog was hacked, that means the hackers got his […]
This comment appeared on Mike’s blog yesterday: Mike Rinder wrote: “So you and everyone else knows — next week is NOT a new show. Nor the week after. The next NEW SHOW IS 10 OCTOBER and it is one that is very hard to watch. There needs to be a couple of weeks respite (according […]
Marty brings up the promise of legal action by Mike and Leah at the end of Season 1 of Scientology & the Aftermath. Marty claims that he and Mike went to a top-tier legal firm just like Leah and Mike did in the last episode of the show. Marty says that the legal firm told […]
I am very grateful to Arnaldo for his courage in getting that website up in the early days of the Internet, keeping it up, and enduring the legal actions and fair game that the Church of Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs.
Marty Rathbun wrote a post last September that is more relevant than ever, thanks to Indy OSA turning intelligence into Black PR.
