Mike Rinder is sometimes described as a “former Church spokesman” by journalists who don’t want to discredit him as one of their sources. But the truth is that Mike Rinder was the Commanding Officer of the Office of Special Affairs under David Miscavige for 22 years.
He ran ALL of the fair game activities for Scientology, suppressed all the pedophile and sexual “flaps”, ran all the attorneys who drew up all the draconian contracts that are used to abuse Scientologists legally, and has never revealed one crime committed in the entire time he has been out of Scientology – 11 years now.

This Scientology Fair Game podcast details an un-aired episode of Scientology and the Aftermath which employed the same hoax they played on David Miscavige’s divorced wife, Shelly Miscavige.
Mike Rinder seems to think so. In an over the top article Jeffrey Augustine makes many speculative claims that he would have no way of knowing about John Travolta.
Until the background of these acts have been exposed, detailed and thoroughly condemned by Mike Rider and Marty Rathbun, and amends made to Gerry Armstrong for what they have done to him, there can be little possibility that a person who wishes to claim they are “exposing the abuses of Scientology” fails to expose the some of the worst abuses that they themselves committed.
Marty Rathbun wrote a post last September that is more relevant than ever, thanks to Indy OSA turning intelligence into Black PR.

Robert Vaughn Young (RVY) was Mike Rinder’s predecessor for many years. He woke up from the spell of Scientology in the 1990’s and contributed some of the best critical writing on Scientology that exists. He died of cancer in 2003.
