After 10 Years in Anti-Scientology, Chris Shelton is Rage-Quitting On Us All

In a youtube community post, Chris Shelton explains why we won’t be seeing any more of him.

Hey everyone,

There’s a much larger world out there beyond the ex-Scientology cult space and I am really looking forward to jumping into that bigger place with both feet in 2024.

It’s been 10 years of anti-Scientology work and education for me and an incredible decade of growth. I know there is so much more to achieve and so many more people to help with the work I do. Scientology is a tiny cult and not something worth dedicating the rest of my life to when there is so much more nonsense and abusive behavior out there that needs to be exposed and stopped.

Focusing on the toxic environment and drama club that the ex-Scientology world has now become would be to demean myself and everything I’ve been trying to do over all this time. I want to thank those of you who can see what is happening and don’t want to be part of it either. Your clarity and support has meant everything to me.

To anyone who thinks I’m the horrible and awful person that some would represent me to be, I can only point to the videos I have posted, the book I wrote and the commentary I’ve given over this last 10 years. That is who I really am and if you can’t or don’t want to see that, there is nothing I can do to change your mind.

Let’s watch one of Chris’ videos from a few years ago where he trashes Steven Mango for Karen de la Carriere.

This video was sent out as part of Karen de la Carriere and Jeffrey Augustine’s attempts to discredit and distract from Steven Mango’s exposure of Karen de la Carriere and her Scientology auditing scam.

As you can see, Chris forwarded Karen’s messaging that she audited people “many years ago” than this reporting that occurred in 2019.

A few days after that, Angry Gay Pope, Karen and Jeffrey’s long time – paid – video editor – outed Karen as a still practicing Scientologist.

It’s clear, to me at least, that Chris was paid by Karen to put out this video. If he really is the guy with “the Masters Degree in Psychology” he pretends to be on TV, why hasn’t he corrected this video?

Why did he put it out in the first place?
