Aaron Smith Levin Gatekeeps The AntiScientology “Community” Exactly As Mike Rinder Did

TRANSCRIPT:

“Okay, let’s see here.’

“Um, what is this? Let me take a peek at it carefully Okay. Let’s see. Bo Beets question if you dare. Why won’t anyone in the SP TV community talk about or entertain any questions or concerns about Virginia and Mike McClaughry? Seriously, is this just more Gatekeeping?’

“Well, if an entire community is not interested in platforming, like an entire community of people who have already shown you that they do not shy away from going their own path. You know, it’s not, it’s not like some leader…. I know Mike Rinder wants you all to believe that any criticism of Mike Rinder is because I’m like, the pied piper ringleader of everyone.’

“I think everyone’s smart enough to understand like…. I would like to ask Mike Rinder, Mike what do you think is so special about me that you think…? Like I am controlling all former Scientologists who are critical of you, like, what do you think gives me that power? I don’t even get it.

So my point is, if people are talking about Virginia and Mike McClaughry it’s not…. I don’t even know these guys. I don’t know anything about him. I don’t know anything about them at all.’

“All I know is that people who have been shit stirrers in the former Scientology community, love to point to Virginia and Mike McClaughry as a source of shit stirring and Gerry Armstrong.

“Guys. Here’s my here’s my response: Why does anyone need to provide Virginia and Mike a platform if they’ve got something great to say? Why can’t they start their own YouTube channel and say their own shit? Like I didn’t w… like why? So wen we talk about gatekeeping…’

“Guys, YouTube is the opposite of gatekeeping. That’s why I try to get everyone to start a YouTube channel.’

“Gerry Armstrong and Virginia and Mike McLaughry do not need anyone’s permission to say anything they’ve ever wanted to say to the entire world.’

“Ummm. There’s a reason why people aren’t interested in spending a lot of time talking to these guys. And I don’t even want to repeat the reasons because then it’ll a little bit would be like, Oh, I’m running them down”.

“Guys I don’t…. guys like I’m not talking. I know, I know it’s that everyone that’s asking this question. And Bo Beets thought I don’t even mean to give you a hard time.’

“I feel like you’re… I feel like you’ve possibly been led astray by the uhhh Alanzo’s Of The World who want you to think that there’s some grand conspiracy for why uhhh people don’t just invite the McClaughry’s and Gerry Armstrong on their channels all the time. Do your own. They can do their own channels. You guys can determine for yourselves if you believe most of what they have to say. Like if you have to go ‘what percentage of what they’re saying is legit and what percentage of what they’re saying is not legit’.

uummm

“I like to talk to people where like, I don’t think anything that they’re saying is not legit.’ laughs

“I mean, you’re always gonna have something where someone has an opinion and someone can have a differing opinion but I’m talking about like straight ‘if I think someone deals, at all, in outright inaccuracies. uhhh I don’t want anything to do with them,

Barb your hittin stuff! Barb you’re bringing stuff up.’

“ummm And anyway, again, like I don’t have…. I don’t even have strong opinions about the McClaughry,s I just go “people like to run around like bashing people over the head with McClaugherys like “Oh, why won’t you do something for the McClaugherys? Why won’t you talk about the McClaugherys? I don’t know.’

“Anyway, I don’t know I didn’t do a very good job of answering that question. But that’s what I’ve got for now. I mean, I’m I mean, no offense, Bo Beets I’m just that’s just my answer.’

    • Could agree more, Aaron is acting like a fucking idiot. I have no idea what is going on, his getting too big for his boots. Expose scientology but this first amendment, running around the streets is pathetic. SPTV is a cult like scientology. You can take the man out of the cult but not the cult out of the man. Plus all the stuff in LA when he assaulted that women is quite unsavoury plus associating with criminals like Tommy.

  3. Let’s think bigger picture, Oscar. I’m not defending one side or the other, just pointing out some inconsistency. “plus associating with criminals like Tommy.” At this point, we know that many ex-scientologists are (non-convicted) criminals based on the things they did while in Scientology. Is there a difference between those criminals and a criminal like, say, Tommy? If we can throw around sentiments like “you can take the cult out of the man but you can’t take the cult out of the man.” should we be saying that about all ex-cult members, to include those you or I may follow?
