I’m posting this tonight since I know this is where it will be seen by those who care about any of this.

I have a Masters degree in the Psychology of Coercive Control from the University of Salford in Manchester, England. I was able to apply for a Masters program without a prior Bachelors degree because of a very common program offered by many universities around the world called APEL – Accreditation for Prior Learning. This is a valid psychology degree which is taken by mental health professionals, doctors, nurses, many various cult survivors, addiction specialists, public policy writers, activists, therapists and others. I was only able to do the program because it was offered online. Prior to that, it was only available at the actual university.

The Masters program was created and is run by Drs. Rod and Linda Dubrow-Marshall. Just this last month, I did a full podcast with them where we discussed the program in some detail here.

A simple Google search could easily verify all of the above.

I do not claim expertise beyond cults and coercive control. I have testified in courtrooms, and even at a government forum, as an acknowledged expert on the topic of coercive control across all the domains in which I studied it: domestic violence, gang/cult/group and human trafficking. Recently I gave court testimony on cyberstalking and cyberharassment, also aspects of coercive control that appear online.

I’ve produced over 1,300 videos on the topic of cult anatomy, influence, manipulation and recovery. In the last ten years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people, most for no recompense of any kind. I’ve encouraged about ten different people to get on to the Salford program themselves and want to help create an army of such graduates since there will never be enough trained and licensed psychologists to help every cult survivor out there. It’s going to take support groups and non-professionals working with therapists and others to get the job done if we’re being real. I even had a discussion all about this with a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist a few months ago on my podcast.
