William Drummond’s Message to Ex-Scientologists about Mike Rinder

William Drummond, long time Scientologist, now Ex, from Britain, with family members who used to work for Mike Rinder in the Office of Special Affairs, wants to talk about the things Mike Rinder has NOT exposed in the 11 years he’s been out of Scientology with his own blog on the Internet, and in 3 Seasons of Scientology and the Aftermath.

  1. I think Mike Rinder has done a wonderful job in pursuing his mission of exposing CoS abuses and lies.

Drummond says “do your job, bring the fuckers down”, which is EXACTLY what Rinder has been working so hard to do for so many years.

I’ve heard Rinder apologize and take responsibility for his past. But nothing he says will ever satisfy folks like Drummond, who just want to kick him over and over again and force him to wallow in his past. Mike Rinder is actually DOING something in the PRESENT to correct the abuses of the past and present that he has always acknowledged he had a large part in. And in my opinion he’s doing a damn fine job. A million times more than the bitching and moaning of people like Drummond who just want to stick people in their past and make them eternally wrong.

    • I don’t see it that way, Joe.

Mike Rinder ran the Office of Special Affairs for David Miscavige for 22 years. He worked with people like Anthony Pelicano running fair game operations attempting to ruin them utterly. For 22 years..

And he can’t come up with one criminal act that would put DM into legal jeopardy, bring in the criminal subpoenae, the forensic accountants and all the rest and REALLY take DM out? See, as you know, DM can eat lawsuits and civil litigation for lunch. But criminal litigation is where he is vulnerable.

So why has Mike Rinder – being out for 11 years, having access to a blog every day and a TV show for 3 seasons, never exposed even one crime?

After 11 years of Mike Rinder being out, and 3 seasons of a TV show, DM is still in power, still doing whatever he wants to Scientologists.

I think Bill Drummond’s point is spot on.

Why aren’t you asking Mike for crimes?

  2. Thank you for posting this..

Alan, do you think Rinder’s past activity within DM’s CoS shaped his thinking and his behavior in the anti-scn community?

I guess what I’m trying to say is: To me, an observer who does not know Rinder personally, it seems like he is attempting to put himself in a position of power and leadership in the anti-scn community, perhaps not unlike the position he previous had inside. And then maybe profit from it.

Are you able to point out any elements of miscavigism that Mike is now attempting to reflect in the “anti-Scn structure of influence” (for the lack of a better term)?
